Call for abstracts

The Call for Abstracts opens on December 1st until March 15th

The abstracts will be submitted to the organisation committee. The abstract will be sent as a pdf following this format pdf, docx. When submitting the abstract, authors will choose one of the sessions for their abstracts, in which they feel their work fits best. Invited speakers will evaluate the abstracts of their sessions and will send them to another member of the scientific committee.

The Abstract will be assessed with the following procedure:

The review process will evaluate the scientific quality, relevance in the field and novelty of the abstract. Other aspects such as clarity will also be taken into account. Each abstract will be evaluated by two members of the scientific committee. The abstracts will be scored from 0 to 10 (the best). The final score of the abstract will be the average score of the two reviewers.

The abstracts with a score less than 6 will be considered as poster presentations, and those scored more than 6 will be considered as podium presentations. Authors could also choose the poster option when submitting their abstracts. The abstracts with the best score will be published in a special number of an indexed journal (the journal will be determined when the submission process starts).

Each invited speaker will be in charge of one parallel session. Invited speakers will open the parallel session and will act as chairman together with another person they choose (preferably from the scientific committee) in their parallel sessions.
Each parallel session will be scheduled in the program with one or more sessions depending on the number of abstracts submitted to each specific session.

The authors will be notified on April 30th on the final outcome of their contribution.
